Collection and analysis of your current software portfolio
In the first step of license optimisation, we work with you to develop the current software inventory of your company with the help of various tools and methods. Here we also determine your software strategy to find out what software you will need in the future and whether an on-premises, Cloud or SaaS solution is best suited for your company.
Analysis of your current license inventory
Based on the software portfolio determined in the first step, we use special methods to collect your current license inventory and with it the associated maintenance and/or subscription costs. We verify the license portfolio for completeness and plausibility and check the maintenance procedures for gaps.
Analysis of current software usage
In the next step, we examine which software you actually use in your company. This is where the first opportunities for optimisation appear, for example when software with high maintenance costs is no longer used.
Planning the optimal license inventory
Now we plan your optimal license portfolio based on the information collected. As a rule, we recommend a mixture of perpetual licenses (unlimited in time), used software licenses (unlimited in time), subscriptions (limited in time) and open-source software. You decide whether you want to implement the optimisation or not.
